Our Adventure Camping Safaris have been designed for the adventurous, out-door-loving wildlife lover. Our Adventure Camping Safaris are carefully planned to offer you the best under canvas camping safari experience. Our Adventure Camping Safaris range from non participatory, fully serviced adventures where the guides and support staff put up and strike the camp, and take care of every detail, so that you can simply relax and enjoy these diverse and well-planned camping safari adventures, to the much more involving adventure trips where you also play a role in setting up camp.
On the Adventure Camping Safaris accommodation is usually in large canvas tents equipped with a mosquito net. Depending on the trip style, guests may be requested to help out in pitching the tents, which is very easily done. On some trips, each guest may be given a foam mattress for the duration of the tour to make the outdoor camping part a little extra comfortable. However, guests will need to bring their own sleeping bag & towel. On our semi-accomodated trips, we may spend a few nights in dormitory accommodation where we sleep 4 - 6 guests per room. If you prefer a fully non participatory exclusive tented camp tour, then have a look at our Exclusive Camps Safaris in which only proper accommodation is made use of.
The camping safari packages are operated on a scheduled basis with regular departures as well as private, tailormade safaris for small private groups. For the more adventurous, we also offer African overland camping safari adventures!
